The Back Beach Pinot Noir is sourced from grower vineyards around the Mornington Peninsula. Aged in mainly older oak barrels, with approximately 5% new, along with 10% whole bunch fermentation. 

With impressive colour intensity, the 2023 Back Beach Pinot Noir has a vibrant, lifted nose with an array of spices present; a feature of the high quality, cooler growing season. The palate is medium bodied and elegant, with raspberries, crushed red berries and redcurrant a feature, along with earthy spices and tannins, consistent with whole bunch fermentation. Though it drinks well young, the wine will continue to improve over the next 5 years.
